Absent star to return, major upset - 4 possible finishes for Naomi vs. Blair Davenport vs. Indi Hartwell on WWE SmackDown

WWE's next premium live event is rapidly approaching. Money in the Bank 2024 will be the company's next big show and it is set to be held live from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Before Money in the Bank, however, there are still a couple more episodes of SmackDown left.

The upcoming show will take place live at Madison Square Garden with the aim of further building up the next premium live event. This means the show will feature a handful of Money in the Bank qualifying matches.

One of the more interesting qualifying matches will see former SmackDown Women's Champion Naomi in action. She will take on former NXT Women's Champion Indi Hartwell and the recently drafted Blair Davenport in a Triple Threat Match.

It isn't clear which star will win the bout and go on to compete at Money in the Bank, but any three of the women involved are possible victors. This article will take a look at a handful of ways the upcoming bout could potentially conclude.

Below are four possible finishes for Naomi vs. Blair Davenport vs. Indi Hartwell on WWE SmackDown.

#4. The Queen of Glow could stand tall

Naomi is an extremely decorated and talented performer. She is a former WWE Women's Tag Team Champion, having notably held the gold alongside Sasha Banks prior to the two talking out in 2022. She's also a former SmackDown Women's Champion.

With her level of skill and experience in a major role, Naomi is by far the favorite to win the Triple Threat Match on WWE SmackDown. In fact, The Queen of Glow could be a favorite to win the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

Naomi has a few moves in her bag that could lead to her getting a pinfall victory on SmackDown. If she hits The Rear View, for example, it would be lights out for Indi Hartwell. Who knows, she may hit a split-legged moonsault on Blair for the pinfall win.

#3. Blair Davenport could pick up an upset pinfall win over Naomi

Blair Davenport is the newest sensation on WWE Friday Night SmackDown, but make no mistake about it, she isn't new to pro wrestling. Blair has had runs on both NXT UK and NXT. Prior to that, she was a hit in Japan, and Europe, and even competed in All Elite Wrestling.

Davenport is very talented, but she is yet to show off her skills on WWE Friday Night SmackDown. In fact, this upcoming Triple Threat Match will be her debut match for the main roster despite making several appearances in vignettes and backstage segments.

Given that Blair is so new, many fans would be shocked if she were to win the Triple Threat Match. That is a very real possibility, however. Not only might Davenport get a victory, but she could pull off an upset win by pinning Naomi. After all the smack talk, this would be massive for her career.

#2. Blair Davenport and Naomi fighting could allow Indi to get a fluke win

Due to the animosity between Naomi and Blair Davenport, the Triple Threat Match on WWE SmackDown is expected to go one of the two ways already included on this list. Either Naomi will win or the newcomer Blair.

Unfortunately for both women, their animosity may be their undoing. There is a very real chance that the two talented performers will be so intent on outdoing the other and this could be their downfall.

Come WWE SmackDown, Indi Hartwell may win the bout thanks to the two other performers taking each other out. The member of The Way could then sneak in and deliver a vicious boot or a diving elbow drop on one or both of her opponents. Indi could then have her hand held high, even if her victory wasn't necessarily earned in a fair manner.

#1. Tegan Nox could return to WWE programming and help Indi Hartwell win

Tegan Nox is an extremely underutilized WWE star. Before she made her way to the Stamford-based company, Nox worked on the indie scene. She also competed on NXT UK, NXT, and the Mae Young Classic. While she suffered some serious injuries, Tegan went on to become one of the key players of the NXT women's division.

Unfortunately, that push hasn't quite materialized on the main roster. Her first run was a disaster under Vince McMahon. Her second run has been more hit or miss, but the talented Nox hasn't appeared on TV or competed in quite some time.

Nox's fate could change on WWE SmackDown, however. Tegan could show up and interfere in the Triple Threat Match and shockingly help Indi win. It could then be revealed that Tegan is joining The Way alongside both Indi and Candice LeRae. If she hits The Shining Wizard on Naomi, Hartwell could get a quick pinfall victory.
