Adam Pearce to ban 45-year-old star from SummerSlam, massive Dominik Mysterio twist? 4 things the WWE RAW GM can announce on this week's show

WWE Monday Night RAW is set to air on the USA Network tonight. With SummerSlam rapidly approaching, all eyes are on the Sports Entertainment giant and the next edition of the red brand's hit show.

The leader of Monday Night RAW and the man in charge of the brand is Adam Pearce. He was put into the position by Triple H and has nearly full authority of the brand, at least providing Triple H or the company's board of directors don't overrule him.

As the RAW General Manager, Adam has to make decisions that not only impact the red brand itself, but massive Premium Live Events. As a result, he is making big-time rulings every single week in order to make the best product possible.

This article will take a look at a handful of big announcements and rulings Pearce may make on RAW later tonight. This includes a major change to a SummerSlam match, a 45-year CM Punk being barred from the big show, and beyond.

Below are four things WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce can announce on this week's show.

#4. Pearce could shockingly ban CM Punk from The Biggest Party Of The Summer

WWE has several hot rivalries currently ongoing, but arguably the best hasn't featured a single, solitary match between the two competitors yet. Drew McIntyre vs. CM Punk is arguably the best feud in all of pro wrestling today. Many hope that they'll finally clash at SummerSlam.

The story between them is intense and has led to injuries and hospitalization segments. In addition to that, there has been a lot of verbal sparring. Things have been so wild that the WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce has been trying to keep the two men separated, especially while CM Punk is yet to be medically cleared.

Supposing that Punk isn't cleared for SummerSlam, Drew will likely instead battle Seth Rollins. Naturally, Pearce has to be concerned Punk will once again interfere or cause chaos as he has done numerous times now. As a result, Pearce may announce that The Voice of the Voiceless is banned from The Biggest Party Of The Summer,

#3. He could announce plans to determine Judgment Day's challengers

The tag team titles in World Wrestling Entertainment were split earlier this year by Triple H. RAW received the World Tag Team Titles, which are currently held by Finn Balor and JD McDonagh. Meanwhile, SmackDown has the WWE Tag Team Titles.

Adam's competition Nick Aldis, the SmackDown General Manager, has already put into motion a way to determine the reigning WWE Tag Team Champion's next opponents. DIY will face the winners of a Gauntlet Match scheduled for this week's edition of the blue brand.

Now, Pearce may step up and do the same. He could announce a Gauntlet Match too, but alternatively, he could reveal a tag team tournament of some kind. Regardless, Adam may announce plans to determine The Judgment Day's challengers.

#2. Adam Pearce could announce Sami Zayn vs Bron Breakker for WWE SummerSlam

Sami Zayn is the WWE Intercontinental Champion. He won the prized title by dethroning the longest reigning champion in the belt's illustrious history Gunther and did so at WrestleMania 40.

In the time since then, Sami has managed to retain his title against several WWE stars, but the most recent was Bron Breakker. Many fans were shocked that Zayn managed to overcome Bron. Breakker himself seems surprised and is focused on getting another crack at the popular Canadian.

Sami seems open to defending his gold against Bron and Adam Pearce may set up a rematch between the two for SummerSlam. Alternatively, Ilja Dragunov could also be included given that his bout with Zayn didn't end conclusively. Could all three men fight at The Biggest Part Of The Summer? Regardless, expect some kind of announcement soon.

#1. He could announce Dominik Mysterio as the special guest referee for SummerSlam

While the biggest and most intense rivalry in WWE is the feud between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre, there may be one even more personal. The rivalry between Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley has grown intense quickly.

Not only are the two feuding over the Women's World Championship, but both have injured the other. As if that isn't enough, Liv Morgan has made it her goal to steal Dominik Mysterio away from the former WWE RAW Women's Champion.

Adam Pearce can see the drama unfolding each week and may decide to fan the flames a bit. Instead of banning Dominik Mysterio from ringside for the impending SummerSlam match, he could shock everybody and make Dirty Dom the special guest referee. This would add even more intrigue ahead of what should be a highly personal fight.
