AEW Dynamite streamed another stacked episode of their weekly show last night, and it was one that managed to continue their storylines in more unique ways. The Inner Circle continued to dominate the promotion with Chris Jericho's ego leading him to book a match against Scorpio Sky for next week's episode of the show in Chicago.

The show itself was headlined by Darby Allin and Jon Moxley, in what has easily become a fantasy match between two of the biggest stars in the company at present. It was a match that definitely followed through on the hype, but even though there were some high points on this week's episode, there were many other moments throughout the night that AEW would rather forget.

#3. An illegal move in front of the referee?

Britt Baker was in action again this week as her AEW push continues, but once again her name was connected to another wrestling botch. Baker came up against Hikaru Shida, who definitely put the dentist through her paces.

The match was by no means perfect since there were moments where it became sloppy and the pace slowed down completely, but it was a match that looked as though it turned the tide in favor of Shida when she picked up a confidence boosting victory.

That being said, there was a moment in the match that looked quite awkward, when Shida delivered a thumb to the eye of Baker right in front of the referee. Aubrey Edwards saw the eye poke and still counted the pin that followed and didn't even flinch when Shida did it, which means it either isn't illegal in AEW or it wasn't planned so the referee wasn't prepared to react.
