AEW Dynamite has been beaten in the ratings for two weeks straight by NXT after what was a fantastic week for WWE with Takeover: War Games and Survivor Series defying many fans' expectations.

This meant that AEW had to go back to the well this week and hope to push forward into 2020 with a lead in the rating war. Whilst both Cody Rhodes and Chris Jericho fired shots at their former employees on the show, it was otherwise a show that took advantage of the talent that AEW had to offer.

There were a lot of promos, but these lead to furthering the current storylines which can only help AEW moving forward as they continue to build into the new year. Whilst the show was structured much better this week, there were a number of interesting botches and mistakes throughout the show, which many eagle-eyed fans were able to spot.

#3 The sound technicians continue to have issues

This week's show was full of production issues as the sound seems to go up and down throughout and was cracking at times as well. It was perhaps most noticeable when The Young Bucks opened the show and were making their way to the ring.

Justin Roberts announced them as part of their entrance, but his mic can be heard crackling before the sound goes completely and then returns in time for the fans to hear him say "Young Bucks."

This continued throughout the first bout of the night since the commentary team could hardly be heard for short periods of time, but luckily it was fixed by the time the second hour began. This should be something that the company should test before the show airs since many fans took to social media to complain about the fact that the sound was of very poor quality.
