AEW Dynamite: 3 Botches and mistakes you probably missed this week (October 23rd, 2019)

AEW returned to their usual place on TNT this week and presented a fantastic show that was headlined by Jon Moxley's match against Pac. Although the match ended in a TV draw, the two former WWE stars put on an impressive main event bout that followed an interesting match between Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter, and then a shocking segment featuring Brandi Rhodes.
AEW is building toward their Full Gear show on November 9th, which already features Cody Rhodes vs Chris Jericho for the AEW World Championship and the long-awaited match between Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega.
While there were some impressive matches on AEW this week, especially the one between The Young Bucks and Best Friends which also featured Orange Cassidy, there were also some shocking botches and mistakes on this week's show.
#3. The opening match

Private Party took on The Lucha Bros for a place in the AEW Tag Team Tournament finals this week on Dynamite, but perhaps it wasn't the best match to open the show. It's difficult to pick a distinctive mistake or botch in this match, especially since there were a number of them.
Both teams rely primarily on their high flying ability and there were several scrappy moves and exchanges that didn't seem as though they connected. The entire bout was also devoid of tags between Fenix and Pentagon, which was strange in a match filled with impressive spots. There was also a punch that didn't connect from Rey Fenix, a baseball slide that missed the target, and several moments where Isiah Kassidy looked as though he forgot the next move.
Marq Quen looked as though he was having a really bad day considering the number of shots that were off target, but it was The Lucha Bros that ultimately advanced and will now face SCU in the finals next week.
