What's the story?

In the lead-up to his highly awaited clash against Kenny Omega at AEW: Double or Nothing, former WWE World Champion, Chris Jericho has now taken to social media in order to reveal a brand new finishing maneuver which will be AEW exclusive only.

In case you didn't know...

Former six-time WWE World Champion, Chris Jericho recently signed a deal with the newly inaugurated wrestling promotion All Elite Wrestling right after his recent run with New Japan Pro Wrestling.

In his debut match for AEW, Jericho will be facing off against his arch-rival Kenny Omega against whom he had initially competed at NJPW: Wrestle Kingdom 12, as Y2J had failed to capture the IWGP US Championship off Omega but will be looking to avenge that Tokyo Dome loss.

The heart of the matter

Even at the age of 48, Chris Jericho continues to evolve his in-ring style and persona, as the former IWGP Intercontinental Champion has taken it to all social media platforms in order to reveal a new finisher which will be used only in All Elite Wrestling.

As showcased by Jericho himself in a recently released clip, the move is an MMA inspired spinning back elbow and it will be called The Judas Effect. In the build-up to his rematch against Omega, Jericho has been training in the MMA gym in Tampa, Florida with Josh Rafferty.

What's next?

With Chris Jericho now introducing The Judas Effect, it will be interesting to note if the former nine-time WWE Intercontinental Champion will somehow still stick to using the Codebreaker.

Nevertheless, Jericho will be facing Omega on the 25th of May and then will be shifting his focus on Kazuchika Okada, whom he will be challenging at the upcoming Dominion show in NJPW.
