Could AEW stalwarts Cody Rhodes (left) and The Young Bucks (center and right) hire this former TNA World Champion?

What's the story?

Speaking to the WINCLY Podcast, former TNA World Heavyweight Champion Mr. Kennedy aka Mr. Anderson revealed that he is indeed considering working with AEW i.e., All Elite Wrestling.

Mr. Kennedy asserted that while he's currently focused on multiple obligations outside the ring, he'd love to make another run in a major professional wrestling promotion.

In case you didn't know...

Over the course of a long and storied career, Mr. Kennedy aka Mr. Anderson has wrestled for several notable professional wrestling promotions, including WWE and TNA (now: Impact Wrestling).

However, since his departure from Impact Wrestling back in 2016, Mr. Kennedy has only been performing sporadically on the indie professional wrestling circuit.

The heart of the matter

Mr. Kennedy has been busy working in his professional wrestling school -- The Academy in Minneapolis, Minnesota -- alongside fellow wrestling stalwarts such as Shawn Daivari, Ariya Daivari, Arik Cannon, and Molly Holly.

Nevertheless, many of Mr. Kennedy's fans have, for long, been clamoring for the top-tier mic worker to return to a major professional wrestling organization.

Addressing the possibility of him joining AEW, as well as giving his take on other performers having an alternative to WWE; Mr. Kennedy stated --

"It's definitely something that's on my mind. Right now, I am focused on being a dad and running my wrestling school...We'll see what happens but I'd love to have another run."
"I love the fact that there are more places for my brothers and sisters to earn a living. It's not a bad thing at all." (*H/T WrestlingInc for the transcription)

What's next?

Mr. Kennedy is presently prepared to face none other than David Arquette at a Legends of Wrestling event on April 20th.
