AEW News: Kenny Omega provides a medical update following his brawl with Jon Moxley at Double or Nothing
What's the story?
At tonight's AEW: Double or Nothing, Jon Moxley made his shocking debut for the promotion and immediately attacked the promotion's two biggest stars, Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega.
Omega, who was brutally assaulted by Moxley by the end of the night, has now taken to social media in order to provide an update regarding his current medical condition.
In case you didn't know...
At tonight's Double or Nothing pay-per-view, Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho faced off in a highly awaited Wrestle Kingdom 12 rematch, as the winner of the match was guaranteed of a shot at the newly inaugurated AEW World Championship.
Having previously faced off against each other at the Tokyo Dome, Omega successfully defended his IWGP US Championship against Jericho in a match labeled as "Alpha vs Omega". However, tonight was a whole different ball game in Las Vegas, as after yet another brutal back-and-forth singles match, Jericho finally avenged his loss to Omega by pinning him clean in the middle of the ring.
After the match, former WWE World Champion, Jon Moxley, FKA Dean Ambrose, made his AEW debut and attacked Jericho and then ignited a wild brawl against Omega. Eventually, it was Moxley who stood tall to end an absolutely wild night in the MGM Grand Arena.
The heart of the matter
In the aftermath of tonight's AEW: Double or Nothing, former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega has now taken to Twitter in order to provide all his fans with a medical update of his current condition following the wild brawl that he was involved in with Jon Moxley.
Omega took to Twitter and retweeted a gif of his in regards to the success of DoN and stated that 'The Best Bout Machine' is going to be absolutely fine. Omega further thanked everyone and also hyped up AEW's next upcoming show, Fyter Fest, which takes place in June.
What's next?
Omega and the rest of the AEW crew will now be focusing towards Fyter Fest, which is scheduled to take place on the 29th of June, 2019 at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida.
