There were swerves galore in the stacked main event.

The confirmation of a dream match between Charlotte and Asuka for WrestleMania was followed by the much-anticipated six-pack challenge for the WWE title.

All the challengers entered followed by the Champion. The match got underway after the customary in-ring introductions and Cena started off insanely hot delivering an AA to everyone except AJ Styles.

Cena cleared the ring and faced off with Styles as the atmosphere was electric in Columbus, Ohio. Styles and Cena tried to get the better of each other in the early exchange and the champ was eventually dumped outside the ring.

The remaining men match had recuperated by then and surrounded the ring along with Styles, much to the horror of Cena. They take Cena out of the equation for now and turned their attention towards each other.

Styles attempted a roll up on Zayn with a bid to steal a quick victory but Zayn managed to kick out. He then went for a roll up on KO but Owens powered out too. The champion followed it with a forearm to Corbin and a Ushi Goroshi to Zayn.

Meanwhile, Ziggler hit a Cena with a monstrous DDT only to be taken out by an Owens frog splash outta nowhere. 1...2...kickout! Owens almost stole one.

AJ and KO were left in the ring and the two bitter rivals traded strikes. Styles connected with a Pele Kick and signaled for the Styles Clash but Owens sent him crashing outside the ring. The Lone Wolf charged at the Prizefighter and executed an epic reverse chokeslam backbreaker. Ziggler, though, caught Corbin off guard with a Zig-Zag from the back.

Cena hit a double five knuckle shuffle on the lifeless bodies of Zayn but he couldn't capitalize as Ziggler got up and went for a Superkick on Cena who dodged it and locked in the STF. Styles saved the day and broke the hold.

Corbin came into the picture and launched the Show Off into the air and crashed him face-first into the mat. He went on to drag Ziggler out to ringside and mercilessly threw him into the fans.

It was just the beginning of all the chaos as Owens ripped apart an announcer's table near ringside. Owens wasted too much time and Shane McMahon returned to ringside to handle the situation. Cena intervened and got Owens up for an AA but he broke free. Styles didn't enjoy the same luck as Cena successfully hit him with an AA through the announcer's table.

Owens and Zayn get back into the ring and Zayn went on to pull off a Hulk Hogan. He said that he was a man of his word and gifted Owens the title by laying down on the mat.

KO went for the pin after initial hesitation but Zayn rolled Owens up and the two rivals began beating living daylights out of each other. Owens went for another Powerbomb on the apron but Zayn sent Owens back first into the apron.

Zayn then spotted Owens at ringside and got up in his face. Sami moved out of the way as Owens went on to knock Shane McMahon out cold with a Superkick. Zayn executed his patented DDT through the ropes on Owens.

The scales, however, shifted in Owens' favour as he hit Ziggler with the Pop-up Powerbomb and went for the pinfall. Shane McMahon played spoilsport and pulled him out before the three-count. The SmackDown Commissioner did it again, this time when Zayn hit the Helluva Kick on Owens.

The finish of the match saw Cena with Ziggler in the Fireman's carry position for the AA. He hit Ziggler with a big AA and rolled up for another massive AA. KO interfered and stunned Cena with a Pop-Up Powerbomb. KO turned to go for the pinfall but was greeted with an AJ Styles Phenomenal Forearm. 1...2...3!

Styles retained after a frantic main event!

Dream match confirmed, the Shane McMahon-Zayn-Owens saga intensifies and John Cena is left with no clear path to WrestleMania. The fall-out to the final roadblock before WrestleMania is bound to spring up a few surprises.
