AJ Styles vs injured WWE star being planned?

Who’s next after Y2J for the Phenomenal one?

AJ Styles has been the hottest entity in the WWE since the day he showed up at Royal Rumble to fulfill the IWC’s previously long-forgotten dream.

Since then, the Phenomenal one has been booked against the veteran that lives for putting over talents; Chris Jericho. Y2J and Styles are most likely set to lock horns at Fastlane, that could mark the end of the short feud.

But after the feud wraps up, who would Styles go up against to continue his steady rise in the WWE?

In an interesting article put out by the WWE, Styles was one of the possible opponents for a returning Cesaro – who is expected to be back soon. Although Cesaro isn’t likely to work a match at WrestleMania, he has been seen on WWE’s recent tour and was also training at the Performance Centre a few weeks back.

If WWE’s teaser is anything to go by, two of the most innovative wrestlers of the world could go up against each other to battle for supremacy. A WrestleMania match is highly unlikely, but who knows, the match could happen later on in the year.

Cesaro – who was scheduled to be out for six months – has been making swift progress in nursing a rotator cuff injury. The Cesaro section is direly missing the Swiss Superman and his exemplary services inside the squared circle.

Apart from that, the video WWE posted also listed Seth Rollins, John Cena, Finn Balor and Brock Lesnar, all which make for some epic feuds just waiting to happen. Who would you like to see go up against the Styles in the near future?
