Alberto Del Rio backed by top WWE superstars? Lawyers give him the green light

Alberto Del Rio

Alberto Del Rio has had to depart from the WWE under acrimonious circumstances, but the man cannot be kept quiet. His representatives have reportedly contacted indie wrestling promoters in the US and Del Rio might soon be seen taking bookings for autograph signings and matches in the US.

He feels the one-year ban on him, that keeps him without pay and disallows him from competing in MMA and pro wrestling events, will not hold up in court.

Del Rio has expressed displeasure on WWE’s social media worker Cody Barbierri has not being fired for the incident they were involved in, but for legal reasons was not able to voice his discontent publicly. His lawyers have now given him the green light, and so he is now preparing to speak out to the media about the circumstances of his departure.

Big names from the locker-room like The Big Show, Randy Orton and John Cena have all called Del Rio to let him know they are with him in this plight, and Triple H has called him, advising him to keep his nose clean for 6 months after which he would be re-hired.

Del Rio ignored all such overtures of friendship and made it clear that he is not interested in coming back.
