Are Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns still friends in real life? The truth about The Shield's relationship outside WWE

Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose (aka Jon Moxley) are three of the biggest stars in the pro wrestling industry. Previously in WWE, The Shield was known for their brotherhood and solidarity but their relationship has evolved over time. While Reigns and Rollins have continued to be WWE's cornerstones, Moxley made All Elite Wrestling his new home.

Despite being separated by different companies, their friendship remained eternal, extending beyond the realm of pro wrestling. The Shield members still happen to be good friends in real life, regardless of what is being shown on television. A recent report also highlighted that The Visionary is very loyal to his former stablemates, and all three of them are very close.

However, Jon Moxley's departure from WWE has affected their dynamics to some extent. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins do not get to see the AEW star often like the good old days, and they communicate with each other mostly through calls and text messages. Regardless, all three superstars have much respect for one another and hold each other in high regard.

Moxley has been seen paying tribute to Rollins in his matches and vice versa on several occasions. Meanwhile, The Visionary has also spoken very highly about Jon in several interviews and podcasts. This stands as a testament to their friendship and bond, which keeps the former Shield brothers forever together, regardless of where they are.

Will Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose ever reunite in WWE?

Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose changed the landscape of World Wrestling Entertainment when they debuted on the main roster as The Shield. However, 2019 was the year when the fans saw the last chapter of the iconic faction when Ambrose left the Stamford-based promotion and signed with AEW.

Since then, fans have been wondering if they will ever get to see the three superstars reunite in WWE. While this may not happen anytime soon, the chances of it happening at some point down the line are very high. One of the major reasons why Jon Moxley left Titanland was his frustrations with the Vince McMahon-led creative.

Now that Mr. McMahon is gone for good and Triple H has taken over WWE's creative regime, the environment has undergone a major shift in recent years. This makes it highly likely that the former AEW World Champion will make a comeback to WWE. However, Moxley is currently locked in a multi-year deal with the Jacksonville-based promotion.

Therefore, the highly anticipated reunion of The Shield is a far-fetched scenario at this point. However, there is a very good possibility that Dean Ambrose will return to WWE for one last run before ending his professional wrestling career. Hence, fans will have to wait a little longer to see Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and him under the same roof.
