Assault top star, align with returning Bloodline star - 4 ways Zilla Fatu can make a statement if he debuts on WWE SmackDown this week (June 28, 2024)

WWE fans witnessed an epic surprise during last week's edition of Friday Night SmackDown. Solo Sikoa and Cody Rhodes battled in the main event, but things went awry and there was interference from The Bloodline. That, of course, is not much of a shocker.

What was a shocker was that after Kevin Owens and Randy Orton made the save and the babyfaces were seemingly in control, Jacob Fatu made his debut in the Stamford-based promotion. The Samoan Werewolf showed up and attacked, thus laying out three top names in the process.

Once again, The Bloodline stands tall and it continues to grow. It seems as if a new member pops up regularly when the family needs it the most. While some may believe this was the last addition to the group, that may not be the case. Zilla Fatu could soon be coming as well.

Zilla is another member of the family and he could very well be on his way to World Wrestling Entertainment. He could make his debut as soon as tonight on SmackDown. This article will take a look at a handful of things the son of the late WWE legend Umaga could do if he were to appear on the blue brand tonight.

Below are four ways Zilla Fatu can make a statement if he debuts on WWE SmackDown this week.

#4. He could interrupt The Bloodline Acknowledgment Ceremony

One massive segment has been announced for WWE SmackDown live from the Madison Square Garden. There will be a Bloodline Acknowledgment Ceremony of some kind.

Details are not clear on what the segment exactly entails, but it is expected that Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu will be in the ring together. Many people believe it may be the first time WWE fans will hear Jacob speak and he could even be anointed by The Enforcer.

During this segment, Zilla Fatu could shock fans and make his debut. He could walk out and directly ask to be part of the stable, noting that he too is part of the family and believes he deserves a seat at the table. The shock from The Bloodline may make it too good to pass up.

#3. Zilla Fatu could confront Jacob Fatu for abandoning their team for WWE

Jacob Fatu is a great get for WWE. He has an aura that very few wrestlers can replicate. He comes across as legitimately dangerous while also being able to deliver spectacular moves in the ring and work with intensity.

Before joining WWE, Jacob had a lot of success working for Reality of Wrestling, Major League Wrestling, and Game Changer Wrestling. He was notably in a tag team with Zilla Fatu months before joining the global wrestling juggernaut.

An interesting swerve could have Zilla show up and confront Jacob. He could say that The Samoan Werewolf ditched him for brighter lights and abandoned their team. This could then lead to the two either fighting or making up, but it would make for compelling television either way.

#2. He could attack Cody Rhodes and others

Jacob Fatu's WWE debut last week was epic, but it was also a major statement by Triple H. The 32-year-old star's debut was one of the most impactful in wrestling history courtesy of the caliber of stars he had attacked during the show.

The Samoan Werewolf attacked two former world champions and the current Undisputed WWE Champion. He laid out Kevin Owens, Randy Orton, and then Cody Rhodes one by one in one of the most impressive assaults in recent memory.

Zilla Fatu may see what Jacob did and attempt to replicate the same. Fatu could show up and nail Rhodes with a Samoan Spike and perhaps start attacking other performers as well. Could DIY, for example, be taken out by the son of the late Umaga? Only time will tell.

#1. Zilla could debut alongside a returning Jimmy Uso

Jimmy Uso is a very successful WWE Superstar. As part of The Usos, alongside his brother, Jey Uso, Jimmy is one of the most decorated tag team competitors in the history of the company. They even have the longest reign of all time as the tag team champions.

Unfortunately, Jimmy is no longer associated with Jey and instead chose to be part of The Bloodline. However, that backfired on the fallout episode of SmackDown after WrestleMania XL, as his brother Solo Sikoa betrayed him. Solo and Tama Tonga kicked Jimmy out of The Bloodline and he has not been seen since.

Many people believe that the 38-year-old star will return and target the new-look Bloodline. If he does, he could do so with some help. There is a chance Zilla Fatu could debut on the upcoming episode of SmackDown, with Jimmy Uso as his ally. As a unit, they could try to take down the new version of the heel stable that Jimmy helped build.
