Backstage news on Vince & Triple H's attitude towards Rey Mysterio return

We have been reporting of Mexican Lucha Superstar Rey Mysterio sending feelers out to join the WWE again, which has been doign the rounds off late. However, the major caveat has been the lack of interest from the WWE to have Mysterio back into the fold.

Vince McMahon is said to be the most resistant towards the idea of getting Rey back into the WWE though he was the most hesitant to let go off Rey, to begin with. Vince is hesitant due to the fact that while it will be great to have a Superstar as popular as Rey back, bringing him back will send out a wrong signal to the other wrestlers who may think it is OK to ‘come and go’ to the WWE when other plans don’t work out.

Meanwhile Triple H is comparatively more warm to the idea of having Mysterio back as the company has been looking for a Mexican Superstar for a while now. However, Vince feels such a move could lead to other wrestlers leaving, under the impression that ‘the grass is greener on the other side’.

All said and done, it will be quite a sight to see the ‘master of 619’ back in the WWE and competing on the mega-card planned for Wrestlemania 32 in Texas.
