Batista discusses facing the Rock, his new movie and more
– Batista has been one of the most dominant superstars in the WWE in the past decade. ‘The Animal’ has been a 6 time WWE World Heavyweight Champion and has various other accolades along with two royal rumble wins.
Batista is set to star in the new James Bond movie Spectre as a villain after successfully starring in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. Batista was speaking with the WWE website while promoting his latest movie. He spoke about facing the rock at Wrestlemania 32, his character Mr. Hinx and more.

On his character Mr. Hinx
When asked if he brought some of his wrestling mannerisms to his character, he said that was a huge help taking some aspects from wrestling. He said that Jim Ross told him that facial expressions is what matters the most and added that he had a perfect rapport with the WWE cameramen.
He said that that it is his face that would tell the whole story.
"So, I think it was a talent I developed over the years, but I didn’t intentionally bring it. I think it was already there. I think it’s part of why I got the job."
On coming face to face with the Rock
Batista stated that he would love the opportunity to work with the Rock. He said that he would relish the opportunity to work in the WWE or in a movie with a personality such as the Rock.
He added that it is unlikely he would return to wrestling in the near future but said that if there is such a great opportunity, he would not mind wrestling or making a movie.
“I don’t have any plans right now to return to the ring or to do a film with Dwayne, but I would jump at the chance for either opportunity.”
On coming back to the WWE
When asked about his return to the ring, Batista said that he misses wrestling and would like to perform at the live events. He took Chris Jericho as an example and said that working live events is great fun.
"It’s really just all about you and the audience. I always just loved that. I’m passionate about it. I’m proud to be a pro wrestler because I love it."
