Bayley to leave WWE SmackDown and get replaced by 17-time champion? Chances explored

Bayley has a tall task ahead of her this week on SmackDown. Teaming up with her good friend Naomi, The Role Model is set to take on Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton. It is a big match with some equally big implications. Should the babyface duo win, the person who gets the pin will get a shot at the WWE Women's Championship, but if they get pinned, the one who loses will have to leave SmackDown forever. Assuming the latter scenario happens with Bayley, the blue brand will need a replacement, and one might present itself in the form of a 17-time champion.

The champion in question is Charlotte Flair. The Queen hasn't been seen in WWE since December last year, but a return is on the cards. Should Bayley be forced to leave, SmackDown could use a replacement babyface, and that is where Flair could step in alongside Naomi. She definitely would be a serious threat to Nia Jax and the rest of the women on the blue brand.

Even though it would be exciting to see Charlotte Flair back on SmackDown, the real dilemma is what lies ahead for Bayley. With a few paths open to her, the 35-year-old can either go to NXT for a dream showdown with Roxanne Perez or switch to RAW and team up with Damage CTRL again. No matter her choice, fans of WWE will support her.

It will be interesting to see just what happens following this week's episode of SmackDown. Will The Role Model leave? Will The Queen replace her? Only time will tell.

Bayley's future on SmackDown may not be as in doubt as one would think

There is no denying that this week's SmackDown is high stakes for Bayley. As mentioned earlier, if she should get pinned, she will have to leave the blue brand. However, while it may seem like her future is in doubt, WWE's website says otherwise.

That's right, WWE may have just spoiled The Role Model's SmackDown future. Although she does head into this week's SmackDown with her future on the line, she may be sticking around on the blue brand for much longer. After all, she is being advertised for several future SmackDown shows.

Now of course, this could just be a mistake on WWE's end, or perhaps it's all a ruse formulated to trick the WWE Universe into thinking that the 35-year-old is sticking around on Fridays. There really is no telling what the future holds, so we will just have to wait and see.
