Bayley to reunite with her rival after 302 days at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024? Analyzing the possibility
Former women's champion Bayley might reunite with her rival, a friend-turned foe, at the upcoming WWE Survivor Series: WarGames. And who is that? It's none other than her former ally, IYO SKY, from the Damage CTRL group.
Bayley was kicked out of the Damage CTRL faction on the February 2 edition of SmackDown earlier this year when she questioned her teammates, IYO SKY, Kairi Sane, and Asuka, for talking behind her back. The betrayal was building up for quite some time, and Bayley came out of the group, turning babyface for the first time, since 2019.
She later challenged IYO SKY for the WWE Women's Championship at WrestleMania 40, which she won. Since then, the two haven't looked eye-to-eye. At the moment, SKY is all set to enter the upcoming women's WarGames match by teaming up with Rhea Ripley, Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair, and Naomi against the heel superstars Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Tiffany Stratton, Nia Jax and Candice LeRae.
Bayley, however, might not exactly come for SKY but for Team Ripley, who will be taking out Liv Morgan's group. Since IYO is also a part of Ripley's team, Bayley and SKY can briefly unite at the mega event. So, by Survivor Series, it would be exactly after 302 days that Bayley and IYO SKY would come together.
Bayley is not a part of the Women's WarGames match at WWE Survivor Series this year
This will be the first women's WarGames match Bayley will miss since the company introduced it in 2022. She has been participating in the matches for the past two years.
However, despite being a big babyface, Bayley was ignored, and Naomi was chosen in her place. Her alliance with the current Women's Tag Team Champions, Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair, might have been the reason for this.
The Role Model lost her Women's Championship at SummerSlam 2024, to Nia Jax after outside interference from Tiffany Stratton. She challenged Jax for the title at Bad Blood but lost the encounter there, too, with Stratton helping out Nia Jax once again.
Bayley is currently the biggest babyface on the blue brand. Currently, she has her eyes set on the WWE Women's United States Championship. The former WWE SmackDown Women's Champion defeated B-Fab and Candice LeRae in a triple-threat contest last week to advance further in the title tournament. It remains to be seen how the company books her for one of the biggest PLEs of the year.
