What's the story

Becky Lynch has had a stellar year in 2018, at least for the second half of the year. After going through some bumps on the road, she finally got her moment to shine, and showed the world exactly who Becky Lynch really is!

The story has been told about a thousand times, so it doesn't need repeating. Nevertheless, Becky shared an interview conducted by John Cena recently, where he put her over during his own interview to promote the new "Bumblebee" film.

In case you didn't know...

Becky Lynch recently lost the SmackDown Live Women's Championship to Asuka at WWE TLC in the first ever women's triple threat TLC match which also included Charlotte Flair.

As she and Charlotte Flair fought over the title, they were taken out by RAW Women's Champion, Ronda Rousey. Due to her interference, Asuka was able to capitalise and become the new champion.

Becky and Charlotte were very vocal about the outcome of the match this past Tuesday night on SmackDown Live, and a match was announced for the upcoming Royal Rumble event between Asuka and Becky Lynch for the SmackDown Live Women's Championship.

The heart of the matter

Becky Lynch took the opportunity to comment on the interview conducted by John Cena on her Twitter page. As you can see below, she claims that in 2019 she will be not be held back, or held down by anyone in the WWE.

What's next

As noted in the above, Becky Lynch will initiate her rematch clause to challenge Asuka for the SmackDown Live Women's Championship at Royal Rumble on January 27, 2019.
