Becky Lynch to return on WWE RAW this week to make heartbreaking retirement announcement? Exploring the possibility
WWE RAW could see the return of Becky Lynch this week. The Irish Lasskicker hasn't been seen on WWE since losing her Women's World Championship to Liv Morgan. Since that defeat, the rumors of her retiring from the squared circle have been circulating.
However, an incident last week on WWE RAW could see Lynch make an appearance this Monday Night. Last week on WWE RAW, Bronson Reed viciously attacked Seth Rollins out of nowhere. Adam Pearce reported a few hours ago that Rollins will be out of action for an unspecified amount of time.
Lynch could appear on RAW, to officially announce her much-speculated retirement from the business, and also announce that Rollins is out of action after the attack. Post this news, Reed could come and try and attack The Man. As Reed could be approaching an attack. Seth Rollins could make a surprise return to the show.
The Architect may be injured, but when it comes to his wife and family, he will leave no stone unturned in trying to save them. This potential retirement angle from Becky Lynch on WWE RAW could also be a planned setup to attack Reed.
The former women's champion has not been on television for a while now and has also reportedly run out of contract with WWE. Therefore, a retirement angle from Lynch is not just believable but also plausible since The Man has not been heard from after her loss to Liv Morgan. Any appearance from Lynch could provoke Reed to attack her and cripple Rollins even further.
Bronson Reed created an opportunity for himself on WWE RAW
Last week on WWE RAW, Bronson Reed went into Adam Pearce's office to ask for a match. Reed was not pleased about not being on television despite winning and made his feelings clear. Pearce then stated that he had to create an opportunity for himself.
Later that night on WWE RAW, Seth Rollins was in the middle of a segment with CM Punk, post that segment, Reed appeared out of nowhere and attacked the architect.
The former NXT North American Champion put Rollins through six tsunamis back-to-back. Injuring the former World Champion's ribs in the process. Later that night, he told Cathy Kelley he was done with his words for big opportunities falling onto deaf years and hence decided to crush their golden boy.
It has been quite some time since Bronson Reed made his main roster debut. Since then he has mostly been in mid-card rivalries and not-so-memorable storylines.
The Australian superstar was running out of time to make a mark before WWE proceeded with other options on the roster. The former NXT North American Champion took his opportunity on RAW and made a statement by going after one of the company's biggest stars.
