Becky Lynch to sign with AEW after WWE contract expires, & more - 3 big possibilities that could arise following RAW

There has been a lot of speculation going on about the future of Becky Lynch after RAW this week. The Man lost her Women's World Championship to Liv Morgan at the King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, this past weekend.

The 37-year-old also failed to re-capture the title on RAW this week during a Steel Cage Match. This has added fuel to the fire of the speculations that the Irish star may not renew her contract with WWE.

Fightful Select reported that Becky Lynch's WWE contract will be expiring this coming weekend. The report also revealed that the former Women's World Champion has still not signed a new deal with the Stamford-based promotion. Her defeat on RAW could be an indication that The Man might not renew.

On this note, let's take a look at the top three possibilities arising out of RAW:

#3. Becky Lynch joins AEW after her WWE contract expires

Becky Lynch is one of the biggest names in the industry today, and it would be safe to assume that both AEW and WWE will try to claim the services of The Man. While the Stamford-based promotion would seem like the ideal choice for Lynch, given that her husband, Seth Rollins, is part of the company, it is also possible that Tony Khan would offer a deal to Lynch, which she won't be able to refuse.

Tony Khan is known for rolling out big-money deals, and getting a star like Becky Lynch on his roster would be a big get for AEW. It would also give Lynch a fresh set of stars to work with, and she could even have rematches against Mercedes Mone in the Jacksonville-based promotion. The multi-time world champion has accomplished pretty much everything in WWE, and she could be interested in conquering new lands after her deal expires.

#2. Another disappointment for Drew McIntyre at Clash at the Castle?

When Damian Priest cashed in his MITB contract on Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 40, many believed he would be a transitional champion. While many still believe that, The Archer of Infamy has shown tremendous growth as a performer since becoming the World Heavyweight Champion.

Priest's promo against McIntyre on the latest episode of RAW has gained him accolades, and he is being seen as a serious threat to The Scottish Warrior's chances of regaining the World Title.

At the 2022 Clash at the Castle, McIntyre came close to beating Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship but fell short due to an interference from Solo Sikoa.

Two years later, history could repeat itself, as WWE might decide to keep the World Championship on Priest at Clash at the Castle, which is set to take place in Glasgow, Scotland, on June 15, and have the home country hero lose due to interference from CM Punk. This would help further the rivalry between McIntyre and Punk, and would also establish Priest as a credible champion.

#1. Sheamus to annihilate Ludwig Kaiser on RAW and get him banished from Imperium

After winning the King of the Ring tournament, The Ring General shared a promo segment with Damian Priest on RAW this week. Gunther reminded Priest that he has a World Title opportunity at SummerSlam. While the former IC Champion has become busy inserting himself into the World Title picture, he is making a mistake by forgetting about his arch-rival, Sheamus.

The Celtic Warrior has been constantly taunted by Gunther's right-hand man, Ludwig Kaiser, in recent weeks. The former WWE Champion had a verbal and physical altercation with Kaiser on RAW this week. The duo will lock horns on next week's episode of the flagship show. The Celtic Warrior could make quick work of Kaiser, leading to Gunther banishing his Imperium teammate. The Ring General would be embarrassed after Kaiser loses to Sheamus, and dispose of him just like he did with Giovanni Vinci.
