Best and Worst of Becky Lynch's SmackDown Women's Championship Reign
In what turned out to be one of the best heel turns of all time, the Irish Lasskicker all of a sudden became the hottest thing in the WWE after SummerSlam 2018. The Creative team too trusted her caliber and handed her the SD Live Women's Championship at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. Becky Lynch had a 2-month long reign with the title which saw her defending the championship against multiple opponents.
She lost her title at WWE TLC in the first ever Women's Tables, Ladders and Chairs match. Though it came as a disappointment for the fans, that Becky lost the belt, the way she lost it equally excited them for the future. RAW Women's Champion Ronda Rousey interfered in the match and cost Lynch and Flair the title which in a way protected them even in the defeat.
So without further ado, I will now analyze the title reign of Becky Lynch -
#1 Best - The first ever Last Woman Standing Match
When was the last time that we saw a feud involving female superstars get more attention than their male counterparts? Surely it has been a long time but Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair stole the show on Tuesday nights with their feud. After a disqualification finish at WWE Super Show-Down, the General Manager of SmackDown Live Paige announced a first-ever last women's standing match for the title.
It was surprising that the WWE Creative did not allow this match to close the show as this match was way better than the RAW Women's Championship match. Nevertheless, the two ladies worked a brilliant match which saw the Irish Lasskicker stand tall over the Nature Girl to retain her SD Live Women's championship.
