Best and worst of Raw: 3rd April, 2017
WWE delivered with the Hall of Fame. They followed it up with a great NXT Takeover: Orlando. Nobody expected WrestleMania to be as good as it was. In the same vein, Raw after Wrestlemania has been just as strong.
There is so much to write about on this show, that one article may not even capture everything noteworthy that transpired. Needless to say, as always we’ll try to do our best and bring you a countdown of the (mostly) positives and (few) negatives from the episode. Read on.
#1 Best: The Return of the Demon King
Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe teamed up to take out Chris Jericho at one point during the show. The two heels were slated to face Jericho and Rollins at a later point. Kurt Angle assured Rollins that he would find Seth a partner.
Who was it? None other than the first Universal Champion and former NXT Champion himself- Finn Balor.
Of course, we saw this coming as Finn has been a part of live events for a while. Raw desperately needs a top babyface in a prominent role that the crowd can get behind. Rollins is not as hot as he once was, and Reigns is almost a heel.
We believe that Balor can fill the role and become the face of Raw in the coming months. He does have a scary looking scar after his operation, but he looks as good as ever.
