Best and worst of Raw: September 11th, 2017
At the outset, Sportskeeda Wrestling would like to send our best wishes to all our readers affected by Hurricane Irma. That said, tradition must be maintained and it's time for our post-RAW 'Best and worst' analysis yet again.
This week, RAW came to us from the Honda Center in Anaheim, and featured a very unenthusiastic crowd, for most of the night.
There were some aspects that blew our mind and some others that did not impress us. It's time to list them all down, and bring you the list of Sportskeeda. Link it in, man!
#1 Best: Completely no selling Suplex City
Two hours of action succeeded the brawl between Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman, and so it is easy to forget this segment even took place.
However, not only did Brock Lesnar get into a tussle on TV, he allowed Braun Strowman to no-sell a German Suplex.
This is a very significant development, leading up to the big Universal Championship match at No Mercy, and actually portrays Lesnar as the underdog. If you had any doubts about WWE being high on Strowman, there you have it! In many ways, this was a passing of the torch, from one beast to another.
The question now remains, how will Lesnar persevere in this titanic contest? There's an element of uncertainty in this match, following up on the destruction caused by Strowman at SummerSlam. "The Beast" has been cornered, and his fate hands in the balance!
