Have a look:
10. Ultimate Warrior
Described by WWE as the 'most enigmatic man to ever hold the WWE Championship', Ultimate Warrior lives on in fans hearts and WWE 2K14, after his unfortunate death. The 54-year-old died from cardiovascular complications on April 8, 2014, just three days after being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. He had made his first RAW appearance in almost 18 years on April 7, 2014, but unfortunately that turned out to be his last. On the ring, Ultimate Warrior is the only wrestler in history to hold both the WWF Championship and the Intercontinental Championship at the same time. Such was his enigma in the-then WWF, that he brought Hulk Hogan down to his knees at WrestleMania VI. His popularity and colourful character make him a great addition to WWE 2K14. He has an overall rating of 93 in the game.
9. Triple H
The son-in-law of WWE boss Vince McMahon, Triple H is a powerful character even in the virtual world. The five-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion has two avatars of himself available in the game. The current version, a bald-shaven member of the Authority is more focussed on defensive strategies, while his younger version is more agile and with more on-ring theatrics. But The Game's pedigree continues to put opponents into submission, and both of his avatars are rated 93.
8. Undertaker
The WWE 2K14 game has a special 'Streak Mode' keeping Undertaker in mind. Though the Deadman's historic streak ended at Wrestlemania XXX at the hands of Brock Lesnar, 2K14 has it at 21-0. In this mode, the player can choose to defend his streak as the Undertaker, or face the Phenom as a player. The difficulty level while facing the legend at WrestleMania is the highest compared to any other WWE game. There are three avatars of Undertaker available in the game, the Retro character (rating: 94), American Badass (93) and the current look one (93).
7. Stone Cold Steve Austin
Want some profanity-yelling, beer-guzzling star who doesn't give a damn about the rules, then Stone Cold Steve Austin is the perfect choice. The six-time WWF champion was the poster boy of the Attitude Era, and even in the game Austin carries on his swagger. With a rating of 94, wrestling's bad boy is a superb choice in the WWE 2K14 game. So don't mess around with Austin 3:16, or a Stone Cold Stunner will be on the way.
6. Hulk Hogan
?Hulk Hogan has registered his name not only as a WWF/E legend, but also as an American hero and probably one of the most popular wrestling stars of all time. Since he walked into the WWF ring in 1979, Hulkamania has swept over the industry. Arguably the biggest star of the WWF era, the Hulkster continues to wow audiences even now and his legacy is quite evident in the 2K14 game. The 2005 WWE Hall of Fame inductee has an overall rating of 94 in the game.
5. CM Punk
In a very short span of time CM Punk has established himself as one of WWE's biggest stars. Phillip Jack Brooks came into ECW in 2006 and his rebelliousness soon transformed him into a big crowd-puller at WWE. The three-time World Heavyweight Champion hasn't made any appearance on the ring, since his Royal Rumble outing on January 26, 2014. Though there have been reports of Punk having retired from WWE, company CEO Vince McMahon has termed his absence as 'being on a sabbatical'. WWE 2K14 the game fortunately provides fans a chance to play as CM Punk, and with a rating of 94, 'The Best In The World' is certainly one of the best.
4. Bret Hart
Bret Hart may have a rating of 94 on WWE 2K14, one of the game's highest, but he definitely isn't pleased with it. The Hitman had posted on his Instagram account, suggesting that the rating isn't just too good for his standards. Though that may come across as a bit of self-bragging, Hart is arguably on of the finest wrestlers in WWF/E history. The five-time WWF champion was a darling of the crowds since his infamous exit from the industry in 1997. At the 'Montreal Screwjob' Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon schemed together to rob Hart of the WWF Championship title. But Hitman fans can rejoice, as they can see their hero don his iconic Pink and Black attire and shades and rule over the ring like he used to.
3. Shawn Michaels
"Ask any Superstar on the WWE roster who the most gifted sports-entertainer of all time is and nearly everyone will have the same answer - Shawn Michaels." These were the words that WWE used to describe the veteran on his induction into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011. The Heartbreak Kid from Texas other than being a great entertainer on the ring, is arguably one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. The leather-clad rebel has been one of the major crowdpullers in WrestleMania history. HBK continues to thrill fans with his on-ring antics in WWE 2K14, with his two avatars (the retro character and the modern-day D-Generation X member), and has a rating of 95.
2. The Rock
He is the man who took wrestling sports-entertainment to newer heights. Dwayne Johnson dropped his 'Rocky Maivia' name to don 'The Rock' avatar, and WWE was never the same again. The 6 foot 5 star was a massive crowd-puller courtesy his entertaining promos and on-ring swagger. The seven-time WWE champion has nowadays devoted most of his time for acting assignments, but in WWE 2K14, The People's Champion continues to enthrall. The Attitude Era star version of Rock is rated 93, while his later avatar is rated 95.
1. John Cena
John Cena has now established himself as the face of WWE, but it has been a long road to reach here. The Massachusetts lad challenged Kurt Angle as a rookie in 2002, at just 25 years of age. Though Cena lost that bout, he went on to win over audiences. The FU star has had a record 11 reigns as WWE champion. He also boasts of three WWE World Heavyweight titles, ensuring a 154-day reign at the Heavyweight throne. Cena's rookie avatar earns a arting of 93, while his newer and title-hungry modern avatar rates 95. Ready to join the Cenation?
