The WWE draft is set to start this week on SmackDown. It is the time of the year where the RAW and SmackDown rosters get re-shuffled. Multiple RAW Superstars will be moved to SmackDown and many stars from the blue brand will join the red brand. What does the future hold for Roman Reigns?

This week on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, a lot of light was shed on what the future may hold for certain Superstars. Two of the biggest names in WWE today are Universal Champion Roman Reigns and WWE Champion Drew McIntyre.

Dave Meltzer of WON has stated that it is likely that they will be moved in a way that they stay on separate brands from each other. He also said there is a chance that both World Champions may end up on the same brand with one of them losing the Championship soon. That 'someone' likely being Drew McIntyre.

The key to these names is obviously McIntyre and Reigns. As the two brand champions, one would expect they would be put on different brands. It is possible they could end up on the same brand but then quickly switch one of the titles. Reigns losing right now would be a surprise and a bad idea. McIntyre losing to Randy Orton is obviously very much in play.

Which brand will Roman Reigns end up on?

Roman Reigns has become the focal point of SmackDown ever since his return and it would be unexpected if he were to move to RAW. So there is a higher chance that Drew McIntyre will be moved to SmackDown.

A feud between Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns would also become an attraction after Reigns is done with his cousin Jey Uso at Hell in a Cell. The Tribal Chief is unlikely to lose the Universal Championship anytime soon but an opponent like Drew McIntyre would certainly help build his credibility.
