Big E talks eating on the road, Magazine ranks Royal Rumbles, JR Media, Chris Jericho's weekend

Big E

Entertainment Weekly has an article here ranking all of the Royal Rumbles. It ranked the 1992 Royal Rumble won by Ric Flair as the greatest of all time. CTNow.com has an interview at this link with Big E, who was promoting this Monday's post-Royal Rumble RAW at the XL Center in Hartford, CT. During the interview, Big E talked about traveling with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods and his diet on the road.

"We find ourselves stopping at Denny's a lot," Big E said. "They've got a new set of Skillets that really caught our eye, so that's something to look forward to. For me, it's a matter of getting as much protein as possible. I try to get about 300 grams of protein a day, and I carry probably about a half-pound of whey protein on the road to supplement in-between meals. For the most part, I try to keep my carbs down and eat a decent amount of protein. On the road, you get used to places that are open after shows at 1 or 2 in the morning, and then trying to eat as clean as possible. I will admit to not having the cleanest of diets, and that's something I'm working on. Being a thicker human being, protein's essential [meaning food like] a decent amount of burgers with no bun. Last week, I went to Waffle House and got 14 scrambled eggs. That's eating on the road for you."

- As noted earlier, Chris Jericho will be appearing at this weekend's WWE live events in New Jersey. Before Friday's event at the Sun National Bank Center in Trenton, NJ, Jericho will be signing autographs at the FYE store at Neshaminy Mall in Bensalem, PA at 4pm. He will sign autographs at the FYE store at Woodbridge Center Mall in Woodbridge, NJ this Saturday at 4pm, ahead of that evening's WWE live event at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, NJ. Fans will be able to purchase Fozzy's new CD, Do You Wanna Start a War, at both signings.

- Just a reminder that Jericho will also be in Philadelphia this Sunday afternoon to moderate a debate between Eric Bischoff and Bruce Prichard at Dave and Busters at 325 N Columbus Blvd. You can purchase tickets for the show here. The debate ends at 3pm and the location is only 10 minutes away from the Wells Fargo Center, the site of Sunday's Royal Rumble pay-per-view.

- WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has been doing the media rounds to promote his pair of one-man shows this weekend in Philadelphia, PA on Friday and Sayreville, NJ on Sunday afternoon. In addition to yours truly, TSC News host Fred Richani has an interview with JR here, John Corrigan of AL.com has one at this link and Randy Zellea of Back Sports Page has one here. Part two of my JR interview will be up this afternoon.
