Big championship match announced for WWE Fastlane
WWE has announced that the newly crowned Intercontinental champion Kevin Owens will defend his title against Dolph Zigler at the WWE Fastlane PPV.
This week’s episode of Raw sat Kevin Owens beating the Intercontinental champion Dean Ambrose, Tyler Breeze, Stardust and Dolph Ziggler in a fatal 5-way match with a pop-up powerbomb to Breeze and regain his Intercontinental championship which he lost to Dean Ambrose at TLC.
After his win, Dolph Ziggler challenged Owens for a championship match at Fastlane and Owens refused to accept the challenge. Later, it was revealed that Owens is forced to defend his title at WWE Fastlane against Ziggler.

Both Owens and Ziggler had a good rivalry when Owens was chasing Ambrose’s IC title before Royal Rumble and the duo put on some good matches during the feud. This will be the perfect chance to rekindle their rivalry and this time, it should be a temporary feud for Fastlane.
Owens winning the title and defending it against either Sami Zayn or Neville at Wrestlemania would be a fitting storyline as Owens has a heated rivalry against both those next gen stars.
