WWE veterans to be at Takeover?, news on Jushin 'Thunder' Liger working with WWE
- It was reported that the WWE has brought in Steve Austin and Kevin Nash for the SummerSlam weekend. Austin is most likely to host the WWE 2K16 event and Nash is supposed to be at a few panels and signings.
There has been some talk on the WWE getting Austin and Nash at the NXT Takeover: Brooklyn event to be held on Saturday. Scott hall is also being reportedly roped in to make a possible appearance, who is not scheduled to make an appearance at the SummerSlam PPV. Nash and Hall are arriving in New York on Friday and it is possible that they might be there at Takeover, even though it isn’t sure at the moment.
- In other news, Jushin ‘Thunder’ Liger, a legend in pro wrestling circles, would be staying back in Brooklyn to watch the annual SummerSlam PPV after his match with Tyler Breeze at Takeover.
In reports coming in from Japan, it is said that Jushin was invited by NXT manager William Regal to be at the event even though he isn’t scheduled to be at SummerSlam or on RAW on Monday night. Liger accepted the booking as he likes to visit the United States and would finally get a chance to make his WWE debut during his week-long trip in the United States.
