Bizarre new alliance, aiding Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest? - 4 ways Braun Strowman can return to WWE
Braun Strowman is one of the most intense and intimidating superstars in modern WWE history. One look at his resume will tell the story, as the big man is a former Universal Champion and RAW Tag Team Champion.
He got his start in the Sports Entertainment juggernaut by briefly training in NXT and then joining The Wyatt Family on the main roster. After a lot of success, Braun was released during the Vince McMahon-led regime and later brought back under Triple H.
Many fans worried about his future, however, as he offered a discouraging health update and disappeared from television. Thankfully, those worries have been put to bed, as Braun competed in a dark match after SmackDown this week.
Now that we know Braun is healthy, he will presumably return to television soon. This article will look at a handful of ways that The Monster of All Monsters could make his comeback in the near future.
Below are four ways Braun Strowman can return to WWE.
#4. He could challenge Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental Title
Bron Breakker is the future of WWE, but the future is very rapidly becoming the present. He is a two-time NXT Champion, former NXT Tag Team Champion, and the current Intercontinental Champion.
The Big Bad Booty Nephew is in a great spot. He was called up to WWE SmackDown and then drafted to RAW all within the last year or so. Now, he is the reigning Intercontinental Champion, having defeated Sami Zayn for the gold.
This could be where Braun Strowman steps in. The Monster of All Monsters hasn't held a title in quite some time. Braun vs. Bron would make for a fun poster and the two could put on a really entertaining sprint. Can Breakker's Spear put Strowman down?
#3. Braun Strowman could join The Wyatt Sicks
The Wyatt Sicks are the newest faction to take over WWE. The group consists of five members with Bo Dallas aka Uncle Howdy as the leader. He is joined by Nikki Cross, Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy, and Erick Rowan.
The group is dark and horrifying, yet they're actually babyfaces and WWE fans love them. This is thanks to their charm, the coolness of their act, and due to the fact that they represent the vision of the late Bray Wyatt.
Braun is a babyface too and has ties both to Wyatt and Erick Rowan. As a result, he could return as a new member of the stable. As intimidating as Rowan is, Braun could be the true muscle of the faction.
#2. He could help the Terror Twins on WWE RAW
The Terror Twins are the duo of Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest. The pair have been friends and united in WWE for over two years now. In the eyes of many fans, they were the two best members of The Judgment Day.
Unfortunately, neither star is in the group now. Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio shockingly betrayed Rhea Ripley at WWE SummerSlam. Finn Balor then did the same to Priest. Now Finn, Liv, Dirty Dom, Carlito, and JD McDonagh make up the new version of The Judgment Day.
The Terror Twins are dominant, but they are outnumbered by a considerable margin. Strowman may not be more than one person, but he is the size of several people. As a result, Braun joining The Terror Twins to take down performers he already dislikes would make a lot of sense and make for an unstoppable trio.
#1. Braun could shockingly join Damage CTRL
Damage CTRL is one of the greatest factions in modern WWE and arguably the best all-female superstar group in history. The stable is currently made up of the injured Asuka and Dakota Kai, plus IYO SKY and Kairi Sane. Bayley originally led the faction, but she left the group earlier this year.
As noted, Braun returned to the ring during a dark match after WWE SmackDown last night. In an interesting twist, he was actually teaming up with Damage CTRL's Kairi Sane. As a duo, the pair defeated Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio.
Braun and Kairi is a bizarre team that nobody saw coming. If two formed a bond, The Monster Of All Monsters could be part of the oddest stable of all time if he were to join Damage CTRL. The other four members make sense and Braun does not, but that might be why it would be entertaining for fans to witness.
