WWE News: Booker T discusses the brand split and two titles

In a recent interview with WrestleZone Radio, WWE legend Booker Huffman jr. aka Booker T opened up about his enthusiasim for WWE’s brand extension plans, teased the possibility of two sets of tag titles, as well as a lot more. 

Discussing WWE’s brand extension and belt plans, Booker T said: “I am going to sit back and watch it just like everybody else. I’m excited about the brand extension. I’m excited because it’s going to give us a chance to see two champions again. From a tag team perspective. From a heavyweight perspective. Another belt may be implemented. I’m looking forward to seeing the younger guys go out there and seeing what WrestleMania 33 is going to look like.” 

The 51-year-old is an extremely respected figure in the wrestling world, having won 35 titles across various franchises, and holds the record for being the most decorated wrestler in WCW’s history.

Booker made a return to WWE back in 2015, and has been involved in various behind-the-scenes roles ever since. 

WWE recognized Booker’s magnificent contribution to wrestling when they inducted him and his brother Lash Huffman into the WWE Hall of Fame this April.
