Brock Lesnar to be handed new persona upon return; reunites with former ally? - 4 ways The Beast could return to WWE
It has been more than a year since the WWE Universe last saw Brock Lesnar and the former world champion may still be absent for a few more months. However, he could make his return in the build to WrestleMania 41.
Triple H mentioned Lesnar during the WrestleMania XL post-show press conference and stated that The Beast was back home and still very much a part of the company.
The Beast Incarnate was initially set to return at Royal Rumble 2024, but it did not come to fruition. Given the way the business has grown in his absence, it's easy to see several different avenues for his return.
In this article, we will discuss four ways in which Lesnar could make his return to WWE:
#4. Lesnar returns to battle Bron Breakker
There has been a slight tease that Adam Pearce is unable to control a number of the WWE Superstars on RAW in recent months. One star in particular was Bron Breakker, who recently lost his Intercontinental Championship to Jey Uso.
At the moment, he has no direction, which means that he could become a problem for Pearce once again and force the General Manager to call in someone like Brock Lesnar to settle the issue.
Lesnar was once the unstoppable beast, but he could return as a face and someone on the side of authority if needed.
#3. Brock Lesnar goes after Cody Rhodes on WWE SmackDown
Brock Lesnar's last match was against Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2023 and The Beast could decide that he wants to circle back.
Rhodes has captured the Undisputed WWE Championship in the time that Lesnar has been away, and with The Bloodline story heating up within itself, The American Nightmare may be left without a worthy challenger.
Lesnar is the kind of star who can walk back into the company and seek a title shot right away. Given that he is expected to get a heel reaction anyway, WWE could push him as a monster villain against Cody Rhodes.
#2. Brock Lesnar reunites with Paul Heyman
Brock Lesnar is expected to be booed by the WWE Universe when he does eventually make his return and who better to draw the hatred out of the crowd than Paul Heyman?
The Wiseman's work with Roman Reigns might have come to an end, and now he could go back to Lesnar to help him have one more run as The Beast Incarnate. There are several athletes on the main roster currently that Lesnar has yet to come up against and the new breed of stars could be a fantastic place for him to start.
#1. Brock Lesnar returns as a massive heel to take out Gunther
Gunther is obviously a heel in his own right but it's clear that he has been playing the tweener role for several months. Someone like Lesnar could allow him to turn face entirely if he finally returned to WWE in early 2025. He could become The Ring General's World Heavyweight Championship challenger.
The groundwork for the feud has already been done and both men have made it clear that they want to face each other, WWE just needs to make it a reality.
