Brock Lesnar will headline a major live event with a top returning superstar
Paul Heyman recently took to social networking site Twitter to confirm that he will be quite close to the unfolding of the match between Brock Lesnar, who was one of the many wrestlers he managed in WWE, and Alberto Del Rio, which is scheduled for this Saturday – reports dailywrestlingnews.
2015 has been a pretty memorable year for Brock Lesnar. who – among other things – won Best Match of the Year for his brawl with Seth Rollins and John Cena, saw out a memorable match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 31, destroyed the Undertaker at SummerSlam, dismantled Kofi Kingston at Tokyo during the Beast in the East event, and last but not least tossed the Big Show around in New York’s Madison Square Garden.
Keeping the above in mind, Lesnar has clearly been one of the best wrestlers of the year and has been given top billing in the match against Del Rio, which is set to take place in the Forum Arena, Inglewood – which also happens to be the first time WWE live event hosted by the venue in over 20 years.
Lesnar’s competitor, Alberto Del Rio, has been a success this year in his own right, and surprised everyone with his unexpected return to WWE this October, where he won his first WWE United States Championship after defeating John Cena. The wrestler also reached the semi-finals of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament, where he lost to eventual winner Roman Reigns in the semi-finals.
With both the wrestlers at the top of their game, it’s safe to assume that the upcoming Live event is going to be a treat.
