Brock Lesnar to make surprise WWE return on RAW; align himself with 46-year-old veteran? Exploring potential twist
It has been over a year since we saw Brock Lesnar. The former WWE Champion's last appearance was at SummerSlam 2024, where he fought Cody Rhodes and lost. After the match, The Beast Incarnate raised The American Nightmare's hand in a passing-the-torch moment, which was unplanned.
In recent weeks, talks about Brock Lesnar's comeback are at their peak. Fans and experts have predicted multiple scenarios that could eventually lead to the return of the multiple-time champion.
One such scenario could see the RAW General Manager Adam Pearce aligning himself with Brock Lesnar to counter Bronson Reed, who has been on a path of destruction since August. The 46-year-old veteran has tried everything to stop Reed from wreaking havoc on the red brand and Braun Strowman stood tall against the Auszilla in a Last Monster Standing match on this week's Monday night show, he reportedly got injured during the bout.
With Strowman out, this could cause more problems for Pearce as only a handful of stars could stop the former NXT North American Champion. Therefore, the RAW General Manager could bring back Brock Lesnar to stop Reed.
However, these are merely speculation and there is no fixed timeline for when this could happen, but if World Wrestling Entertainment books a bout between Reed and Lesnar, that will be total fireworks.
Brock Lesnar was rumored to return earlier this year, however, WWE halted all plans after he was allegedly alluded to in Janel Grant's lawsuit against Vince McMahon.
While Triple H did comment on Lesnar's future in the company, many believe bringing The 47-year-old ex-champion could lead to backlash from fans that WWE would not want at a crucial point when the promotion has major deal implications coming in months.
WWE veteran worried if Brock Lesnar really wants to come back
WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff has expressed his views and concerns regarding the return of Brock Lesnar. The veteran questioned whether the multi-time champion wanted to wrestle another match at World Wrestling Entertainment.
Speaking on his 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff said Lesnar has already made loads of money from his decorated career in professional wrestling and may not feel the urge to step foot again inside the squared circle.
"No way to know, man. Brock's unique. Brock's got enough money he could live the next three lives... His kids will never be able to spend the money that Brock has made, and beyond the money, Brock has farming. That's his joy, that's his passion, that's where Brock is at peace based on what I've heard. I don't know Brock that well, and man, I don't know; he doesn't need to, so it's a question of does he want to, and at some point, you just don't want to anymore. What's Brock gonna do that he hasn't done a dozen times in the last dozen years?" he said.
It remains to be seen when The Beast Incarnate will show up in WWE again and take someone to the ride of Suplex City.
