Brock Lesnar to return after 350 days & destroy Judgment Day to win top title? Exploring the potential
Brock Lesnar might have the perfect way to return to WWE after his time away from the company. He could end up having an entire faction to fight.
The star has been away since last year's SummerSlam on August 5. However, when he returns, attacking Damian Priest is a real possibility.
Brock Lesnar has not been seen in WWE for a long time since his name was implicated in the scandal surrounding Vince McMahon. While he was not outright mentioned, it was heavily implied that he'd been partially involved in the situation surrounding Janel Grant's lawsuit. Before that, he'd been away from the company, but there were reports that he would return at Royal Rumble.
That didn't happen, and he has still not been seen in the company. Now, though, Triple H has said that Lesnar is not done with WWE and is still with the company.
This would be the perfect way for Lesnar to return after 350 days and create a new challenge for Damian Priest. The star has been the dominant champion for some time now and will go into his match against Gunther as an almost-face star. Should he emerge as the champion, it's very possible he'll be immediately attacked by Brock Lesnar.
Lesnar needs a challenge the moment he returns, and battling Priest would involve a feud with the entire Judgment Day, making it something that would take a lot of effort on his part, given the numbers advantage. Given his nature and ability, though, it's highly likely he would still defeat them. However, Priest would not be as easy to deal with.
It would also give Lesnar a new opponent and Damian Priest an incredible challenge to overcome. Either way, Priest would feel like a bigger star after the feud than before, as long as he does not lose within seconds like Kofi Kingston's unfortunate loss.
Brock Lesnar has already defeated Cody Rhodes
Lesnar and Priest would be a fresh feud for the stars.
Cody Rhodes and Lesnar are very familiar with each other, having battled thrice last year in The Beast's last feud before his hiatus.
However, with Priest, Lesnar could have an intense feud leading into Survivor Series.
The Beast Incarnate has previously considered retiring, and like John Cena, a retirement tour before he leaves could see some incredible matches, this being one of them.
