Brock Lesnar to return to exact revenge on former WWE Champion? Exploring potential swerve

Brock Lesnar hasn't been seen in WWE since SummerSlam 2023, but Chief Content Officer Triple H noted a few months ago that the Sports Entertainment juggernaut would be open to a discussion if The Beast Incarnate decided to return.

Lesnar has been wrestling for more than two decades, and in that time he has been involved in several iconic feuds. The Beast's last in-ring appearance in WWE saw him come up short against Cody Rhodes at The Biggest Party of The Summer last year, and The American Nightmare has since gone on to win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

One man who helped Rhodes win the title at WrestleMania XL was Seth Rollins. The Visionary was recently attacked by Bronson Reed and is expected to feud with the Australian beast after his return. However, there could be someone much bigger looking to settle his issue with The Messiah.

At Battleground 2015, the then-WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins defended his title against Brock Lesnar. The Beast dominated the proceedings, but just when he was about to pin The Architect, The Undertaker returned and laid him out. Lesnar was never able to get a rematch despite winning via disqualification because of this interference.

Of course, Lesnar and Rollins have renewed their rivalry several times since then and exchanged the Universal Championship several times during their feud in 2019. That being said, Lesnar was never able to get revenge.

That said, the angle is speculative at this point.

Will Brock Lesnar have revenge on his mind if he returns to WWE?

Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar have a storied history inside the squared circle, and they could put on an interesting feud heading into Survivor Series if The Beast returns to the Stamford-based promotion later this year.

Brock Lesnar often returns around the Royal Rumble season before embarking on the Road to WrestleMania, but he could opt to feud with Rollins during the winter. Additionally, the former King of the Ring could go after Cody Rhodes' Undisputed WWE Title on SmackDown.

It will be interesting to see if The Beast Incarnate returns to WWE TV in the future.
