Brock Lesnar to return and put over 26-year-old WWE star in his official retirement match? Exploring the potential

Brock Lesnar is, without a doubt, one of the biggest stars in professional wrestling. He was last seen on WWE TV at SummerSlam 2023, where he faced Cody Rhodes. After the end of the bout, fans saw The Beast Incarnate break character in a passing-the-torch moment, raising The American Nightmare's hand in victory.

Many fans and analysts have predicted numerous theories that could lead to Brock Lesnar's comeback. Most fans definitely want to see The Beast Incarnate come back for a final run in the company.

Many feel Brock Lesnar should get at least a pre-announced bout before he decides to hang up his gloves. Some are suggesting that his retirement match could be against Oba Femi. The Nigerian Giant is young, hungry, and hugely talented, and the Stamford-based company clearly has big things planned for him. In the near future, when the Triple H-led creative decides to call him up on the main roster, they could book him against The Beast Incarnate, leading to a retirement match for the latter. In the end, the multi-time champion could put the 26-year-old superstar over graciously and hang up his gloves.

Building younger superstars would be beneficial in the long run for the company. In recent times, Triple H and co. have faced backlash for not featuring black wrestlers prominently on the card. Femi could help dismiss the allegations and be the next big thing. However, no fixed timeline can be predicted for his comeback since his name was alluded to in Janel Grant's lawsuit. Lesnar coming back before there is any legal clarity might lead to a major backlash from fans and mainstream media, which the TKO-owned company would likely want to avoid.

WWE legend questions if Brock Lesnar actually wants to come back

Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff recently expressed his views on Brock Lesnar’s hiatus and if the star even wanted to come back. The 69-year-old questioned whether The Beast Incarnate wanted to wrestle another match at the Stamford-based promotion.

While discussing this on his 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff said Lesnar has already earned a lot of money from his professional wrestling career and other business ventures and might not have the urge to step inside the squared circle anymore.

"No way to know, man. Brock's unique. Brock's got enough money he could live the next three lives... His kids will never be able to spend the money that Brock has made, and beyond the money, Brock has farming. That's his joy, that's his passion, that's where Brock is at peace based on what I've heard. I don't know Brock that well, and man, I don't know; he doesn't need to, so it's a question of does he want to, and at some point, you just don't want to anymore. What's Brock gonna do that he hasn't done a dozen times in the last dozen years?" he said.

It remains to be seen if and when Brock Lesnar will make his much-awaited return and what the Triple H-led creative has in store for him if he does come back for a final run.
