Brock Lesnar to return on RAW on Netflix and help 42-year-old star destroy major faction? Exploring the possibility
Brock Lesnar last appeared on WWE programming at SummerSlam 2023, where he faced Cody Rhodes in the third match of their trilogy, which he lost. After the match ended, in a passing-the-torch moment, The Beast Incarnate raised Rhodes’s hand. With each passing week, the anticipation for his comeback reaches a new peak.
The Stamford-based promotion has multiple options for Brock Lesnar’s return to television. However, an interesting one could be that he comes out to punish The Judgment Day. On the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, Finn Balor earned a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship against Gunther, and their match is officially booked for Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14.
However, after granting him a title shot, Adam Peace told Finn Balor to watch out for another championship fight, which is most likely for his and JD McDonagh's World Tag Team Titles. An interesting possibility could be Damian Priest returning as the challenger for tag titles, and he could introduce Brock Lesnar as his surprise partner to demolish The Judgment Day.
This return would open multiple doors for Lesnar, who could eventually turn his back on Priest, and set a showcase between them at WrestleMania 41. Alternatively, The Beast Incarnate could finally lock horns with Dominik Mysterio; they were reportedly set to face each other in a singles match earlier this year at Elimination Chamber: Perth before plans were abruptly canceled.
WWE veteran questions if Brock Lesnar wants to return
While discussing Brock Lesnar’s recent troubles and his potential comeback to the promotion on his 83 Weeks podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff questioned the intentions of The Beast Incarnate of coming back to WWE. The veteran expressed that Lesnar has already made exceptional money in his combat career and other business ventures and might not have the desire to return.
"No way to know, man. Brock's unique. Brock's got enough money he could live the next three lives... His kids will never be able to spend the money that Brock has made, and beyond the money, Brock has farming. That's his joy, that's his passion, and that's where Brock is at peace, based on what I've heard. I don't know Brock that well, and man, I don't know; he doesn't need to, so it's a question of does he want to, and at some point, you just don't want to anymore. What's Brock gonna do that he hasn't done a dozen times in the last dozen years?" he said.
It remains to be seen whether Brock Lesnar returns and what plans Triple H has in store for him in case a return works out.
