Brock Lesnar to return at Royal Rumble 2025; start a brand new feud with Bloodline member? Potential storyline explored
Brock Lesnar has been away from WWE programming for over a year, with his last match coming at SummerSlam 2023. While there is no word on when the Beast Incarnate could return, there is a feud for him that could interest the fans upon his potential comeback.
Many young stars have risen to prominence in Lesnar's absence. One of these names is Bronson Reed, who has finally found his footing on the main roster. The powerhouse has been a major trouble for the rest of the roster. He recently joined the Bloodline as their fifth member for the WarGames match at Survivor Series and is coming off a victory over multi-time world champion Seth Rollins.
With two of Paul Heyman's current/former clients involved in a feud with the New Bloodline, Brock Lesnar could join the party by starting a rivalry with Bronson Reed. While the Beast Incarnate was slated to return to action earlier this year at Royal Rumble, he could come back at next year's premium live event and target Reed to kickstart a battle between two goliaths.
Brock Lesnar was recently referenced on WWE programming
WWE distanced itself from Brock Lesnar after the megastar was seemingly referenced in a lawsuit against Vince McMahon. The Beast Incarnate's return plans were nixed, and he was even removed from the pre-show video package. However, after a few months of maintaining distance, the company has started referencing the former Universal Champion.
Lesnar was even namedropped on RAW this past Monday as Xavier Woods taunted Kofi Kingston for losing the WWE Championship to the Beast Incarnate in seconds.
Lesnar was last seen in action at SummerSlam 2023, where he lost to Cody Rhodes in their third match. The former Universal Champion was reportedly scheduled to return at Royal Rumble this year, but plans were nixed after he was referenced in a lawsuit against Vince McMahon. His return would still depend on him getting cleared by the WWE legal team.
