Brock Lesnar's WWE return is inevitable: 3 potential clues fans missed

Brock Lesnar's last WWE appearance was at SummerSlam 2023, where he suffered a loss at the hands of Cody Rhodes. The Beast was supposed to return at the Men's Royal Rumble Match earlier this year, but creative plans for him were put on hold following Janel Grant's lawsuit against Vince McMahon.

While Triple H has claimed that WWE hasn't severed ties with the former WWE Champion and the company will be ready to discuss plans when Lesnar is ready to return, nothing has been solidified. However, The Game and the wrestling juggernaut may be dropping hints for fans that indicate The Beast is coming soon!

#3. The Beast could return to set up Gunther vs. Goldberg

Atlanta's own Goldberg returned to WWE at Bad Blood on October 5th, 2024. He was a part of a segment with World Heavyweight Champion Gunther. The Ring General cut a promo with the former WCW Champion ringside, and it was a raging success. Since WWE is potentially looking to book Gunther vs. Goldberg, Brock Lesnar can return to set it up.

Gunther vs. Brock Lesnar is a dream match. Additionally, The Beast's history with the WWE Hall of Famer is well documented. Since the company is building something big for The Ring General, it can have Lesnar return and challenge Goldberg to a match with the stipulation that the winner will face the World Heavyweight Champion.

This will provide a creative angle for all three superstars and give fans two blockbuster matches!

#2. The Undertaker discussed the possibility of Brock Lesnar vs. Gunther

Gunther has always been vocal about a dream match against The Beast. In fact, it's not just him but also fans who wish to see the titans in the ring together.

Interestingly, even The Undertaker believes that Brock Lesnar vs. Gunther will be a hard-hitting match since The Beast Incarnate can match The Ring General's intensity. Here's what he said on Six Feet Under with Mark Callaway:

"Oh absolutely, it would be [a throwback match]," The Undertaker said about Gunther vs. Brock Lesnar. "Brock doesn't give a s**t; he doesn't care. You just have to realize [that] everything that you give, you're going to receive. Braun Strowman found that out."

Monday Night RAW will air on Netflix from January 6, 2025. The debut episode will be no less than a premium live event. The first few weeks will have to keep fans invested to ensure the ratings remain high.

Gunther vs. Bron Breakker would be a great way to start the move from the USA Network to Netflix, but the 26-year-old seems to have shifted his focus back to the Intercontinental Championship. With Gunther potentially without a challenger for RAW on Netflix, the company can think about setting up a match against The Beast.
