Brock Lesnar WWE schedule correction, Cody on making up for lost time with Goldust
- A quick correction on Brock Lesnar‘s schedule heading into WrestleMania XXX. He is actually not confirmed for the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view on February 23rd, and I’m being told that he most likely won’t be appearing at the event. He is confirmed for RAW the night after the pay-per-view on February 24th at the Resch Center in Green Bay, WI, which will be the night of the WWE Network launch. He will be added to more shows as WrestleMania draws nearer.
- SLAM! Wrestling has an interview with Cody Rhodes here, who was promoting Sunday’s WWE live event at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. During the interview, Cody discussed receiving advice from his dad, his first Slammy, Jerry Lawler’s heart attack in Montreal and more. He also talked about teaming with his brother.
“Nothing was supposed to lead this way. It’s just one of those things that caught fire,” said Cody. “The thing you need to know about Dustin is that before his return, he had a behind-the-scene success. He’s a healthier person now. As Goldust, he has the best matches of his life. It’s like a Benjamin Button kind of story.”
“It’s a real trip. We both have a different style, but I really love it. It’s a very positive thing. I never thought it would happen. He started his career when I was a kid. We are closer together now and try to make it up for the lost time. It’s an opportunity for us. We actually don’t talk that much of the ring when we are not in the ring.”
