Early life
Carlito completed his graduation from the Colegio San Ignacio de Loyola in the year 1997. He chose to join a gym at 11 years old because of his unsatisfied with his physical conditioning. He has said that he just did so for practice and didn't initially mean to turn into a grappler. It was only after finishing his advanced degree that he chose to prepare.
