Triple H has announced a new 24/7 Champion

R-Truth became the 24/7 Champion for the 22nd time when he defeated Samir Singh in a backstage segment that was uploaded to WWE’s social media platforms during the November 18 episode of RAW.

One day later, Triple H has announced that the 24/7 Championship has changed hands once again, with WWE staff member Mike becoming the first behind-the-scenes employee to win the title at today’s Town Hall.

As you can see from the video below, the title change occurred after Truth tried to escape from potential challengers and ran face-first into the Town Hall set. Mike then pinned Truth and referee John Cone counted the 1-2-3.

WWE Superstars react to Mike’s title victory

Carmella was among the first WWE Superstars who congratulated Mike on his 24/7 Championship win, while The Singh Brothers requested that he keeps their Bollywood stickers on the title.
