Charlotte Flair to return and align with her husband on WWE SmackDown? Exploring new power couple

Charlotte Flair could potentially return to WWE and align with her husband, Andrade, on SmackDown. The WWE Speed Champion defeated Carmelo Hayes this past Friday night on SmackDown and will be challenging LA Knight for the United States Championship on the September 20 edition of the blue brand.

Flair has not competed in a match in 2024 so far. The veteran suffered a significant injury last year that has forced her to miss a substantial amount of time. She suffered a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus in a singles match against Damage CTRL's Asuka on the December 8, 2023, episode of SmackDown.

The Queen could be approaching her return and may have plans to help her husband win the United States Championship this Friday night. Andrade spent a few years in All Elite Wrestling before returning to WWE during the Men's Royal Rumble match in January. The two stars may decide to form an alliance in the weeks ahead and form a new power couple on the blue brand moving forward.

Charlotte Flair has been providing regular updates for fans during her road to recovery.

The Eradicator was betrayed by The Judgment Day's Dominik Mysterio last month at SummerSlam and was unable to capture the Women's World Championship from Liv Morgan. The two stars will clash again next month at Bad Blood in Atlanta, Georgia.

In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling, Rhea Ripley boasted about her victory over Flair at WrestleMania 39 and claimed she could do it again when the veteran returns to action.

"Good luck. Mami is bigger and better than ever, and I beat you at WrestleMania 39, so you best believe that I can do it again. I love you, Princess. Get back and be safe because Mami's gonna put you back down." [2:09 – 2:23]
