Chris Jericho draws a comparison between the Inner Circle and nWo
Post-AEW Full Gear pay-per-view, Chris Jericho took part in a media event to discuss the show, how Inner Circle seeks to dominate the AEW roster, comparing the factions with the legendary nWo and a lot of other topics.
Inner Circle and New World Order
New World Order (nWo) remains a significant name in the pro-wrestling industry owing to their influence in the Monday Night Wars. As a result, whenever a new faction pops up, there are comparisons between the two. When Wrestlinginc asked the AEW World Champion if his Inner Circle has any resemblance with the nWo, Chris Jericho pointed out why the fans should never compare the two stables.
"The nWo was 22 years ago, but the difference is this, the original nWo was comprised of three, legit main event superstars, guys who had main-evented WrestleMania."

Chris Jericho mentioned how Inner Circle gave the spotlight to overlooked talents like Ortiz, Santana, Sammy Guevara, and Jake Hager, unlike nWo, as it debuted with established main-eventers in Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall or Kevin Nash.
"We're building the Inner Circle right off the bat and week one we had the hottest faction, possibly in the history of the business, and people didn't even know who these guys were. Now they know who they are. Give us another two, three, four months and there's no doubt in my mind we will go down as the great faction in wrestling history."
What's next for Inner Circle?
The AEW World Champion revealed his plans of walking out as a double Champion following the upcoming episode of Dynamite as he and Sammy Guevara will be challenging for the AEW World Tag Team Championships on that show.
"This Wednesday, on AEW Dynamite, Sammy Guevara and myself will challenge SCU for the AEW Tag Team Championship. And we're going to walk out of there and I'll be 'le doublé champion."
One half of the AEW World Tag Team Champions, Frankie Kazarian, didn't waste any time to respond to Chris Jericho's challenge.
