CM Punk accepts Curtis Axel's challenge for a match on WWE RAW

It was noted earlier that on SmackDown, WWE Intercontinental champion Curtis Axel along with manager Paul Heyman challenged CM Punk to a match on Monday night RAW.

Punk accepted the challenge as he tweeted this:

Curtis Axel has been interfering in Punk’s affairs on behalf of manager Paul Heyman ever since the latter began his rivalry with Heyman and Brock Lesnar. Punk settled scores last week on RAW with repeated chair shots to IC champion Curtis Axel, and the champion was certainly not impressed.

So it is now official. CM Punk faces Curtis Axel in the upcoming WWE RAW. With the wily Heyman on Axel’s side, the champion may just edge Punk in this one.
