CM Punk and Drew McIntyre to continue feud until WWE Bad Blood? - 3 Stipulations that could be added to their rivalry
Drew McIntyre and CM Punk had their long-awaited match at WWE SummerSlam, but it looks like their rivalry is far from over. After the recent RAW episode, it's clear that the superstars will continue to have another chapter in their feud.
CM Punk was sidelined with an injury during the 2024 Men's Royal Rumble at the hands of Drew McIntyre. Since then, The Second City Saint vowed never to let his rival win the World title, which he followed through for the last few months. They finally clashed at the 2024 WWE SummerSlam, and The Scottish Warrior came up on top, though special guest referee Seth Rollins may have also aided him. On this week's RAW, it was clear that the feud between both of them is far from over, and the company could involve other elements for their next clash.
For this list, we will look at three stipulations that could be added for CM Punk and Drew McIntyre's next match.
#3. CM Punk and Drew McIntyre need to be contained inside a Steel Cage match
At the WWE SummerSlam, Drew and Punk's match reached outside the ring, and they used several items to their advantage, including the announce table, steel steps, steel chair, and even the ring itself.
Due to this, WWE could ensure that for their next bout, both stars will remain inside the ring by incorporating a Steel Cage. Through this, the intensity and brutality of their clash won't be limited.
#2. A Last Man Standing match could fit the theme for WWE Bad Blood
In October 2024, Bad Blood will return to WWE after two decades. No matches have been announced yet for the upcoming premium live event, but the name suggests that feuds stemming from hostility could fit perfectly in its match card.
Punk and McIntyre's feud has transcended and is now made personal after Drew continuously targets his rival's family. Due to this, it wouldn't be a wonder if Punk challenged Drew in a match to show who is truly "the man" or the best. In this way, both of them will be able to display all their aggression to each other.
#1. Drew McIntyre and CM Punk have yet to compete in a Bull Rope match
CM Punk and Drew McIntyre have competed in several matches with different stipulations in the past, but not one of them has wrestled in a Bull Rope match. Though they have competed in something similar, Drew in a Strap match against Karrion Kross and Punk against MJF in a Dog Collar match in AEW.
The stipulation would be quite ironic as it would mean both men wouldn't be able to go far from each other despite them being unable to stand near each other without brawling. In this way, WWE could ensure that they would be in close proximity at all times.
