CM Punk to return with 3-time WWE champion; Drew McIntyre removed from RAW? 4 predictions for their feud this week

The heated feud between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre gets new layers every week on RAW. One star may claim the rivalry is finished after winning a match at a PLE. Both stars did this after SummerSlam and Bash in Berlin, respectively.

McIntyre was the latest to attack his foe, bloodying Punk after The Voice of the Voiceless tried to move on from the feud. Punk laid out his world title aspirations, but The Scottish Warrior clearly wasn't done with him.

RAW GM Adam Pearce announced that the two would square off inside Hell in a Cell at Bad Blood. McIntyre didn't look happy with the decision.

What will happen since Punk is scheduled to appear on RAW? The next four things could happen in the ongoing drama between McIntyre and Punk.

#4. Drew could be removed from the arena to avoid chaos

Whenever WWE is in the middle of an extremely intense feud, officials often ban or tell certain stars to leave. They hope to avoid more chaos and violence taking over the show.

McIntyre and Punk have taken turns trading blindside attacks, but McIntyre's have been more brutal. When Punk has popped up unexpectedly, it has been to cost The Scottish Warrior the world title.

Since Pearce announced that The Best in the World would be back this week, he may have security waiting in case McIntyre arrives. They could escort him from the building, but savvy wrestling fans know it's usually a misdirect for that banned star to return later in the night.

#3. CM Punk could send Drew McIntyre packing after his own attack

The Best in the World attacks McIntyre one week. The following week, McIntyre returns the favor, much to the chagrin of Adam Pearce.

The cycle of attacks and pull-apart brawls helps sell the intensity of the feud and rivalry between two veteran superstars. Since The Scottish Warrior came out on top after their last encounter, it's Punk's turn to get the upper hand.

He could rush Drew backstage or while the latter is in the ring. If he meets his enemy head-on, he'll likely need a chair or Kendo stick to get the upper hand. His actions could send McIntyre packing on RAW.

#2. Drew might bring in a lawyer to dispute the contract for the match

Another wrinkle in the ongoing clash between the former WWE Champions is Adam Pearce. The RAW GM has been the man in the middle who has tried to keep things contained.

McIntyre has broken that defense several times, pushing Pearce to suspend and fine him at different junctures. He even required McIntyre to apologize for abusing referees one week. That led to Seth Rollins's installation as Special Guest Referee for SummerSlam.

Since Drew feels cheated or that Pearce is on Punk's side, he could bring in a lawyer to 'serve' Punk or Pearce with a lawsuit. He could also have the lawyer bring up loopholes in the contract for Bad Blood.

#1. Punk could bring his wife to RAW

The biggest focus of the feud between Punk and McIntyre has been Punk's homemade bracelet. It features the name of his dog, Larry, as well as the name of his wife, AJ Lee.

Lee is a three-time Divas Champion and hasn't wrestled in a WWE ring in over a decade. She's been name-dropped several times, leading many to believe that she may step foot back into a WWE ring like her husband.

Punk will also appear on NXT this week and on the premiere episode on the CW network. It could lead to more work for Lee if she wants one more run. It would make sense to bring his wife to the show since McIntyre keeps taking her name.
