CM Punk's family must beware - 3 ways Seth Rollins can make him learn that "actions have consequences"
CM Punk was put on notice last night, as Seth Rollins warned him following the events that transpired at Money in the Bank. The Best in the World inserted himself in The Visionary's business and cost him the World Heavyweight Championship.
What's more, thanks to CM Punk's actions, Rollins isn't allowed to challenge for the title as long as Damian Priest is the champion. Considering all this, Rollins decided to give Punk a taste of his own medicine. After all, The Voice of the Voiceless has made it his mission to show his arch-nemesis, Drew McIntyre that "actions have consequences".
Well, Seth Rollins has now made it his mission to prove that very same thing to CM Punk. And, here are three ways he can make him learn just that.
#3. Seth Rollins costs CM Punk his potential match at SummerSlam 2024
As things stand, it looks like RAW general manager Adam Pearce will attempt to book a match between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre. He will likely start the process next week on RAW when he sits down with the Scottish Warrior for a meeting. If that proves to be the case, we could see Punk and McIntyre finally have their fated clash at SummerSlam 2024.
If this proves to be the case, it could be the perfect setting for Seth Rollins to come in. He could cost Punk his match against McIntyre, much like Punk cost him at Money in the Bank. It certainly would be a great way to kick off a feud that could take us all the way to WrestleMania 41.
#2. Seth Rollins could team up with Drew McIntyre and target Punk
CM Punk's biggest challenge could come from Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre teaming up against him. If they join forces, they could cause a lot of trouble for Punk, possibly leading him to change brands or even leave WWE. Having two of the biggest superstars in the locker room on your back would be too much for anybody, let alone Punk.
Furthermore, a tandem consisting of McIntyre and Rollins would send chills down the spine of every superstar in the locker room. They could easily take over the tag team division and even form a faction of their own. No one would be able to oppose them, and that is especially true when talking about The Voice of the Voiceless.
#1. Rollins takes a page out of his feud with Edge and goes to Punk's house
Many of us still remember the intense feud between Seth Rollins and Edge from a few years ago. One of the highlights from that incredible feud was when The Visionary paid a visit to The Rated R Superstar's house. Well, Rollins could adopt a similar tactic with CM Punk, and make a trip to the latter's home in Chicago.
This time around, Rollins could take things one step further. He may confront Punk's wife, AJ Lee, and possibly use psychological tactics by taking Punk's dog, Larry. However, this is just speculation at the moment. One thing that is certain is that Rollins has a plan for Punk. What that is, remains to be seen.
