CM Punk's next match to be confirmed; WWE title reign to end after 168 days? 5 possible endings to RAW tonight
The upcoming episode of WWE RAW will see the fallouts from Saturday Night’s Main Event. The show received appreciation from the WWE Universe.
Drew McIntyre ran through Sami Zayn after a tough contest at the event. Meanwhile, Liv Morgan put up a good Women’s World Championship defense against IYO SKY.
Finn Balor and Damian Priest failed to dethrone Gunther in a Triple Threat match for the World Heavyweight Championship. The effects of all the matches will be felt in the upcoming show of the red brand.
There are many ways Triple H may have planned the ending of the upcoming episode of RAW to keep WWE fans hooked on the product. Check out the five possible ways the show could come to an end on Monday night.
#5. The Judgment Day could suffer a major blow
Finn Balor competed in a Triple Threat match for the World Heavyweight Championship. The contest was ultimately won by the defending champion, Gunther.
The upcoming episode of RAW will see Finn Balor and JD McDonagh defend their World Tag Team Championship against War Raiders. The titles could change hands to close out the show this week.
Damian Priest could interfere in the contest and cost Balor and McDonagh the titles. This will allow War Raiders to gain more relevance on the brand while continuing the rivalry between The Prince and The Archer.
The WW Universe could end up witnessing a brawl between Balor and Priest to close out the show. Triple H could then announce a grudge match between the two top WWE stars for the Netflix premiere of the red brand.
#4. Jey Uso returns to WWE RAW to target Drew McIntyre
Drew McIntyre is looking to get back at The Bloodline for all the times they’ve cost him crucial title matches. The Scottish Warrior took out Sami Zayn at Saturday Night’s Main Event to make a statement.
A couple of weeks ago, he attacked Jey Uso backstage. He also took out an already-injured Jimmy Uso on the latest edition of SmackDown.
Fans could see Drew McIntyre come out in the final moments of this week’s show to make his intentions clear. Jey Uso could attack him, and the two men could end the show with a major brawl.
It would be a great way to cement Drew McIntyre as a top threat on RAW again, especially with the upcoming transition of the red brand on Netflix. He could fight Jey Uso in a singles match on the show.
#3. Dominik Mysterio turns on Finn Balor
Judgment Day has been having a good time at the top of the WWE RAW roster. However, things haven’t been going all too well between the group members.
Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio have had one too many bitter encounters backstage. The fallout could be coming soon, as Dirty Dom seems more confident than ever.
Dominik could finally betray Finn to close out the show by costing him the World Tag Team Titles. Instead of helping Balor and McDonagh during their title match, he could attack them and allow the War Raiders to win.
The angle could finally have Finn Balor turn babyface and go against Dominik Mysterio for some time. Triple H could have him rebuild his character as a babyface before pushing him into the world title picture again.
#2. CM Punk and Seth Rollins make their match official
CM Punk and Seth Rollins have gotten their hands dirty on RAW over the past couple of weeks. They have traded punches and many verbal jabs to build their rivalry after Bronson Reed’s injury.
The upcoming episode of the red brand show could see Punk come out to cut a promo in the final segment of the show. He could be interrupted by Rollins, and the two men could get into a war of words again.
The Best in the World could offer to fight Rollins in a match on RAW’s Netflix premiere, and the latter could agree before attacking Punk. It would be the perfect way to take their rivalry forward, with Seth Rollins playing the heel character.
#1. Ludwig Kaiser wins his first singles WWE title
Ludwig Kaiser has done a phenomenal job in the mid-card of the main roster. He has had some great matches, and he will face Bron Breakker in an Intercontinental Championship match on the upcoming episode of RAW.
Adam Pearce could have the two men main-event the show, and WWE fans could see Kaiser finally come out on top to win his first singles title in WWE. The win would give the European Elegance a stronger hold on the red brand's roster, especially with his partner Gunther at the top of the division.
Bron Breakker has held the Intercontinental Championship for less than two months. However, he could drop it to move into a rivalry with The Ring General heading into RAW’s Netflix premiere.
