CM Punk to set up debut match, cost top star major title opportunity? - 4 things Stephanie Vaquer could do in potential WWE NXT debut next week

WWE NXT aired last night on the USA Network and it was an important show for a few reasons. It was the final edition of NXT on the USA Network ahead of the brand's move to The CW next week.

Beyond that, most of the show was fairly typical, and even at times somewhat of a lame duck, but that changed by the end. During a segment with Giulia and Roxanne Perez, a video appeared on-screen and Stephanie Vaquer was shown.

The incredibly talented Chilean star spoke but kept things short and sweet. She revealed that she will be coming for whichever star wins the NXT Women's Championship, leaving Roxanne and Giulia both surprised.

While no follow-up was offered, it is clear that Stephanie is on her way to NXT. In fact, she could even appear on next week's episode. This article will look at a handful of things Vaquer could do if she debuts on NXT next week.

Below are four things Stephanie Vaquer could do in her potential WWE NXT debut next week.

#4. She could stop Roxanne Perez from cheating

WWE NXT next week is loaded up thanks to it being the premiere of the brand on The CW network. Arguably the most interesting and exciting match on the card is Roxanne Perez vs. Giulia for the NXT Women's Championship.

Roxanne Perez has been a phenomenal champion, but there are some doubters who believe that she'll soon be losing her belt to The Beautiful Madness. Despite that, it is important to remember that Roxanne will do anything to win, even if it means cheating.

This could be where Stephane Vaquer comes in. The Chilean star could be in the building and see Roxanne about to cheat to retain her gold and react accordingly. For example, if Perez is going to use a chair, Stephanie could pull it away from her to stop the illegal action. This could even lead to The Prodigy getting pinned by Giulia and a new champion being crowned.

#3. Stephanie could interfere and cost Giulia the WWE NXT Women's Title

If you polled most WWE fans, they would likely tell you that they believe Giulia will defeat Roxanne Perez next week to become the NXT Women's Champion.

It makes sense, as Giulia is a serious force to be reckoned with. Her success in STARDOM and MARIGOLD before joining WWE can't be ignored. She is hard-hitting and one of the best in the world. Still, her victory isn't certain and anything can happen.

For example, Stephanie could shockingly cost Giulia the title. Vaquer and Giulia have history and they could bring their past to NXT. Alternatively, Stephanie could simply be a heel who wants to be the one to end Roxanne's epic title reign before Giulia can do so. Regardless, she might cheat and cost The Beautiful Madness the win.

#2. She could confront the winner of the Women's Title match

Instead of interfering in the finish between the two talented WWE stars, Stephanie could take a different approach. Vaquer could come out after the title match is over and confront whichever star is the winner. The talented star could make it clear that she intends to challenge the winner, just as she did in her promo during WWE NXT last night.

This could then set up a future match, perhaps at NXT Halloween Havoc later in October. Stephanie vs. Giulia or Stephanie vs. Roxanne would be a big match to include on the card and it could be set up next week.

#1. CM Punk could book Stephanie Vaquer in a debut match

Instead of being immediately involved with the NXT Women's Title picture, Stephanie could do something else on WWE NXT next week. The talented performer could compete in her first-ever televised match.

CM Punk is the special host for NXT, which means with Ava and Shawn Michaels' blessing, he can make major decisions. One decision he might make as someone who is a long-time fan of pro wrestling is to have Stephanie Vaquer compete on a big stage as soon as possible.

Technically, Stephanie already wrestled Isla Dawn at live events in Mexico, but she is yet to compete on a broadcasted show. The talented performer taking on someone like Sol Ruca or Brinley Reece next week could be a great introduction moving forward.
